Hand lettering is one of my favorite skills! I gave the iconic #1 dad ribbon a fresh look by painting the design in ProCreate.
Wanting the design to feel natural, authentic and genuinely "dad", I created some funny phrases that could be awarded to dads like "#1 at Naps" and "Grill Champ".
